Who we are

The Middle East and North Africa Civil Society Network for Displacement (MENA CSND) is a broad coalition of civil society actors from across the Middle East and North Africa region including academics, faith-based organisations, local NGOS, artists and cultural influencers and the private sector with a shared commitment to contribute to the protection, resilience and development of displaced persons and host communities.

Scope of work

Members and supporters are bringing a diverse range of expertise and experiences to refugee responses.

"Arab Institute for Human Rights has benefited immensely from experience sharing favored by the regional and sub-regional consultations…these meetings allowed the participants to explore new and innovative approaches to dealing with refugee situations. The findings and recommendations formulated during these meetings guided Arab Institue for Human Rights in developing its work strategy implemented at a national level."

Hajer Chehbi, Executive Director, Arab Institute for Human Rights, Tunisia
